Isabella and Joy have new dresses, and a new friend!

Isabella and Joy were quite thrilled today to receive a new dress each in the mail.
Joy wants to thank Aunty Patty (Monsoon on Etsy) for her beautiful blue dress with Russian Dolls on the fabric. It is beautifully made and Joy loves it. I hate to tell her but it was actually bought for Mui Chan ...........how can I take it off her now?
Isabella has a lovely crochet dress, also from an Etsy seller. We found a little toy rat in the cupboard today and she swears that it is her bestest friend forever!

Mui Chan is on her way!

I just received an email from Ixtee. Mui Chan is on her way! I hope to have her with me by Friday. I'm thinking that her Chinese name is Mei-Li but the Australian version is Miley!

Doll Leaves Ding Ding, Joy

This is Doll Leaves Ding Ding whom I have named Joy!
She is the same size as a Lati Yellow. I just adore this girl. She never stops smiling! It is kind of infectious. I mean, who wants to spend time with miserable people?
I was lucky enough to get this girl when she first came out. The company had an opening special which included a free face up. They have some beautiful dolls, I am keen on Ku,the opposite of Ding Ding, she is permanently in tears!

Secretdoll Person 21, Isabella

This is Isabella. She is a Secretdoll Person 21. She is the same body size as a lati yellow but has a yo sd head! She really is big headed!
"so tell me, why on earth did you buy this ridiculous Duck dress, Don't you know who I am?"

Wanted list

I don't actually have a lot of dolls on my wanted list right now. That is probably because I have overspent this year on dolls and probably don't need any more! There are, however, a couple that I would like to add.
The first is Dollndoll Sugar. She is Yo SD size and has dreamy, mystic sleepy looking eyes! For the price she is an amazing looking doll. At the moment they have free shipping on her and I am very tempted! but not enough to get in to a fight with my husband so she might have to wait till next year!
The second doll that I love the look of is Sleeping Elf's (Tinybear) Thistledown. I really love the look of the dark tan human. She is only 10c.m tall but looks lovely and chubby. She fits in to Puki Puki size wigs and clothing. She is a very reasonable price and I would love to add her to my collection.
I also love all of Domadoll's girls. I especially like the look of sleeping Okra. I think I am attracted to the sleepy/dreamy eyed dolls!
I wish I could justify $300 on a Fairyland Choco Puki because I adore the tan resin. I just can't justify that money on such a tiny doll. If only they would bring her out in a basic like they have with the Real Puki.
A Secretdoll Baby Fairy in natural skin tone in either Yogi Sen or Root would be a lovely addition to my doll family.
And last but never least is Dream High Studios Squee in chocolate resin......awesome!
There you go! that isn't too bad a list is it? I am quite proud of myself for stopping at that. Unless, of course, you have any suggestions for me?

Blythe

I am rather ashamed to admit that I have owned six Blythe dolls in less than one year! None of them stayed for longer than two months.
My first Blythe came in the form of "Roaring Red" from Ashton Drake. She had a simple, long red dress and long dark brown hair swept up in a bun. She was very pretty but she only stayed with me for two months.
My next doll was "Pow Wow Poncho" from Ashton Drake. Her stock outfit was rather boring, a brown poncho and white skivvy with matching stockings. Her hair was beautiful, long wavy blond. I dressed her up at Christmas time in a cute outfit from Sugar Mag. She looked so pretty. Sadly, she moved on in January!
Purple Pinafore from Ashton Drake was my third Blythe. She stayed less than two weeks! I couldn't cope with that hair.
I gave Blythe a miss for a while. Then I heard about Cassiopeia Spice and knew that I had to have her! When she arrived I loved her stock outfit but...........that hair! oh my! I couldn't do a thing with it. She left the next day!!
Recently I started looking at Blythe again. There was a fantastic special on Simply Guava and Simply Mango. I bought Guava for myself and Mango for my daughter. I loved dressing her, I loved photographing her. But the pink hair.........it just wasn't for me. I sold her two weeks later. My daughter still has Mango and she isn't going anywhere.
The only Blythe that I have really wanted for a long time is HEATHER SKY. I love her tan skin and long brown hair. She is slightly more expensive than the cheaper Blythe's and because of this I have not bought her. I think that for Christmas I might treat myself. I know it is not Blythe's fault, it is mine! But I really think Heather Sky might be the one that stays!

Mui Chan Version Three

I'm Excitedly awaiting the arrival of my Mui Chan version three. I would have loved the version one or two but missed out. I am not as keen on the version three faceplates but believe that others will become available in the near future.
I love Ixtee! everything that I order is sent out so quickly and arrives well packaged. I think the clothing and shoes are very well priced. I am looking forward to more variety in the way of clothes. The header on their site gives me hope!
